The game’s premise is purely racing, wherein up to 16 cars can be raced at once. However, one significant improvement is the AI for the NPCs or non-playable characters, including your opponents.
There were numerous new features in Gran Turismo Prologue, and it was made even better in the Spec II update.
To commemorate this fantastic game, Sony released in 2008 a limited edition of the new 80GB PS3 console for Gran Turismo 5 that included a Blu-Ray disc version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III. For a very limited time, it was made available in white, black, and silver versions.
