Mark III FM Power Base Converter – Complete!

I’ve received and successfully built the first Mark III FM Power Base Converter! This new Power Base Converter variant allows Mark III games to be played on either Genesis or Megadrive with FM Sound – thereby opening up the entire Mark III Japanese library to people who do not own a Mark III console. In the coming weeks I will be testing the Mark III FM Power Base Converter with a large number of Mark III games. Stay tuned for test results!M3FMPBC-complete

Yes absolutely, I just need to build one and take some nice photos of it for the website.

What kind of timeframe do you think you’re looking at until these are released? I have several Mark 3 games lying around and I only have a Mega Drive Mega Adaptor and would love to get FM sound on them.

I’ve been toying with the idea of modding my Mega Adaptor, but this is a much cleaner solution and the Master System FM mods are all currently out of stock.

I have already released some in the past – however there was very little interest for it. Perhaps I should periodically make a few…

Dang, I’m sad I missed out on these when they were available. What’s the best way for me to keep up to date on your releases?

I only did a limited run release. In the next few months it’ll be a full-blown product with its own page and order-able on this website. Announcements will be made on the website and on Twitter.
